Day #29 – Your Favorite Theme Attraction
The Haunted Mansion

I find it funny how, for years, I refused to go on this ride. The first time I went on this – I was forced to because it was for training at Disney. I’ve been on the backstage tour twice and the entire thing just fascinates me now. I love how they changed the line. Love the line.

My friends think I’m weird because when I was a kid, my family would always go to cemeteries. We would plant flowers and pretty much spend the entire day there. I used to take a notebook and write down all of the different names.  I’ve been told it’s a northern thing, but I’m not really sure.

I always close my eyes during the graveyard part of this ride. Not because I’m scared. Because I hate the ones that pop up. I even know when they pop up. I just can’t deal. Haha.

Day #30 – Your Favorite Theme Park Show

It doesn’t specify what kind of show, so I’m just going to pick Wishes. I have seen this fireworks show more times than I could count – and it still leaves me in awe. I loved working in Fantasyland and watching them from the back. It was always one of my favorite things about working nights. I love watching people’s reactions and how they are always the same at the exact same moments. My favorite, though, will always be sitting directly in front of the castle watching it. It’s so special to me and I don’t think I could ever get enough of it.

My favorite part is the Sorcerer Mickey part. I like to call it “the flying stoplights” part. It just really entertains me. and I really like the simple fireworks during that part.
